The college has been creating records year after year. In spite of a continued recession with about 90 companies visiting CVR and close to about 1000 placements for the 2024-25 academic year, it is the highest among the peer group of colleges. CVR College of Engineering has been granted autonomous status by UGC and is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. The college is located in Mangalpally (V), Ibrahimpatnam (M), Ranga Reddy, 20 km from the center of Hyderabad, India. CVR Hyderabad offers degree courses in the fields of BTech, MTech, and PhD programs in different fields of specialization. Their flagship course, BTech, is available for full-time mode with the annual fee of INR 1.53 lakhs. CVR College of Engineering offers B.Tech. courses in Civil, CSBS, CSE, CSE (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning), CSE (Cyber Security), CSE (Data Science), ECE, EEE, EE (VLSI), EIE, IT and Mechanical Engineering.
