Deccan Education Society is a registered educational trust and society founded in 1884 by freedom fighters and social reformers in Pune. It runs over 50 institutions from pre-primary to post-graduate level and research in various fields, including Fergusson College, a nation-building institution with a historical campus and a water and food testing laboratory.
