As per the DGFT Trade Notices No. 36/2023-2024 (dated December 26, 2023) and No. 24/2024-25 (dated December 20, 2024), all authorized agencies are now required to issue Certificates of Origin ( COO ) electronically via the Trade Connect e-Platform ( eCoO 2.0) by visiting Trade Connect. Trade Notice No. 24/2024-25 requires all Certificates of Origin ( CoO ) to be filed electronically through the eCoO 2.0 platform at https://www.trade.gov.in. EEPC India provides registration and submission guides, FAQs and assistance for CoO users. Citizens are hereby warned about some spurious websites which may look similar to DGFT website / be using similar email addresses, but are involved in collecting money on the wrong pretext of providing DGFT services including IEC certificates. The DGFT CoO plays a crucial role in facilitating cross-border trade by enabling exporters to prove the origin of their goods and determine eligibility for tariff preferences.
