A State-level workshop on the future of digital libraries in India and the importance of digital education was held at Providence Women’s College, Kozhikode, on Monday, 24th March 2025. R. Dinesh, Director of the Indian Institute of Spices Research, inaugurated the programme, which was organised with the support of the National Digital Library of India (NDLI) and the NDLI Club. Representatives from various educational institutions participated in the workshop. A digital library is an online database of digital objects that can include text, images, audio, video, and other formats. ELIB.ORG.IN is a digital library, repository and archive for the preservation of scientific and literary works of Indian and foreign authors. The project works on the principles of free participation: everyone can register and save their scientific or literary works.
