The Girnar Parikrama is considered one of the highest pilgrimage routes, encircling Mount Girnar , one of the highest peaks in Gujarat, India. Practised primarily by Jain and Hindu devotees, this sacred circuit is believed to provide spiritual purification and blessings to all pilgrims. Girnar Mountains are older than the Himalayas and are believed to be sacred since ancient times. It is a very religious place for Shiv devotees and many Sadhu baba, Nath Sect and different Jain Tirthankaras reside in these mountains. Girnar is an ancient hill in Junagadh, Gujarat, India. It is one of the holiest pilgrimages of Jains, a Mahatirth, where the 22nd Tirthaṅkar, Lord Neminath attained omniscience, and later nirvana at its highest peak (Neminath Shikhar), along with other five hundred and thirty three enlightened sages.
