Neeyat is a film directed by Anu Menon, starring Vidya Balan as a CBI officer investigating a series of murders at a birthday party in Scotland. The film was released theatrically and on Amazon Prime Video in July 2023, and received mixed reviews from critics. Neeyat is a very inferior imitation of movies based on Agatha Christie novels. Most of the acting performances are cringeworthy and not credible. It's also fairly easy to figure out the killer's motive, even with all the plot distractions.
