With Adam Zampa missing the first few games of the T20I series, Cricket Australia has added young leg-spinner Taveer Sangha to the squad. He hasn’t featured in the XI since 2023, but his record in the Big Bash League (BBL) is decent for Sydney Thunder. A 28-year-old leg-spinner from New South Wales, Adam Zampa got his first taste of the IPL when he joined the Rising Pune Supergiants in IPL 2016. The leg-spinner was chosen in Australia’s squad for the U-19 World Cup in 2010 and made his first-class debut in November 2012. He possesses impressive control and variety and has also shown leadership skills as captain of Sutherland in Sydney grade competition. Zampa was picked as a replacement for countryman Kane Richardson ahead of the 2020 ...
