Azadi ka amrit mahotsav: Is an embodiment of all that

Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav is an embodiment of all that is progressive about India’s socio-cultural, political and economic identity. The official journey of “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav ” commences on 12th March, 2021 which starts a 75 week countdown to our 75th anniversary of Independence. Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence and the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements. You may be aware that our great nation is now just few weeks away from the 75th Anniversary of Indian Independence (Azadi ka अमृत महोत्सव). To commemorate the monumental occasion, all Department and Ministries will host a set of activities for a resurgent, Aatmanirbhar Bharat. Freedom Struggle This theme anchors our commemoration initiatives under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav . It helps bring alive stories of unsung heroes whose sacrifices have made freedom a reality for us and also revisits the milestones, freedom movements etc. in the historical journey to 15 August, 1947.
