To overcome the problems of delay & clerical errors in processing the pension cases, as well as financial loss and harassment to the pensioners, the DOPPW introduced, a unique innovative centralized pension processing software called ‘ Bhavishya ’ for all central government Ministries/Departments. Bhavishya is a Pension Sanction & Payment Tracking System for on-line tracking of pension sanction and payment process; both pensioners and administrative officers can use this system Bhavishya Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare is working with a vision of ensuring active and dignified life for pensioners. The goal is to ensure payment of all retirement dues and delivery of Pension Payment Order (PPO) to retiring employees on the day of retirement itself. CPENGRAMS (Centralized Pension Grievances Redress And Monitoring System) is an online computerised system which has been developed with an objective of speedy redress and effective monitoring of the grievances besides providing a fast access to the pensioners.
