Gopeshwar Mahadev Temple is one of the oldest temples in Vrindavan, located in close vicinity to the holy Yamuna River. The temple is revered for the Shiva Linga which was established here by the great-grandson of Lord Krishna, Vrajanabha. Even today, Shri Gopeshwar Mahadev gives boon to the sadhaks to achieve the top most bliss of Vrindavan and bless the sadhaks. The principal deity of the temple is Lord Shiva, worshipped in the form of Gopeshwar lingam, also known to be Gopi.
