Marcus Harris is an Australian cricketer who plays for Victoria and Leicestershire. He is a left-handed opening batter who made his Test debut in 2018 and won the 2023 ICC World Test Championship. A diminutive opening batsman, Marcus Harris burst on to the Australian domestic scene in 2010-11 when he scored 157 in his third first-class match, which made him, at 18, the youngest Australian to score a first-class 150. Australian left-hander Marcus Harris has given selectors something to think about ahead of the World Test Championship final, compiling a century in the UK's County Championship. Harris made 138 for Lancashire against Middlesex at Lord’s, fittingly the venue for the Final beginning on June 11. He played college football for the California Golden Bears, Idaho Vandals, and Oregon State Beavers.
