Mekapati Goutham Reddy died at the age of 50 on 21-02-2022 in Hyderabad from a heart attack. He was born into a Hindu Telugu family to a homemaker mother Mani Manjari and former minister father Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy. He had two brothers named Vikram Reddy & Prithvi Reddy. Mekapati Goutham Reddy (born on 31st December 1971, age: 50 when died) was a South Indian Politician and a Minister for the Industries, IT, and Commerce sector under the rule of the Current Government of Andhra Pradesh. He has been working at this high position of his political career since 8 June 2019. Andhra Pradesh state industries, commerce and information technology minister Mekapati Goutham Reddy died of sudden heart attack in Hyderabad on Monday morning, hospital authorities said. Mekapati Goutham Reddy (2 November 1971 – 21 February 2022) was an Indian businessman [1] and politician. He was a member of the YSR Congress Party. Reddy was born in the Nellore district in Andhra Pradesh. He was a member of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly between 2014 until his death. In January 2022, Reddy tested positive for COVID-19 and was hospitalized in Hyderabad, Telangana. [2] He died a month later from a heart attack on 21 February 2022, aged 50. [3]
