Introduction to NEST 2025 The National Entrance Screening Test ( NEST ) is a compulsory computer-based test for admission to the five-year Integrated MSc programme in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics, at National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai – Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM–DAE CEBS), Mumbai. NEST 2025 is an essential national-level exam for students pursuing a 5-year MSc course in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics. The exam is scheduled for June 22, 2025 , and will take place in around 120 cities across India. It is specifically for students seeking admission to top institutes like UM-DAE CEBS and NISER for Integrated MSc, MSc courses, and PhD programs. The last date to complete the application process and submit the fee is May 13, 2025 .
