Pullela Gopichand Academy was founded in 2001 by All England Open Badminton Champion, Pullela Gopichand. The facility trains several badminton players such as Saina Nehwal P. V. Sindhu, Srikanth Kidambi, Parupalli Kashyap, H.S. Prannoy, Sai Praneeth, Sameer Verma and many others. The second such facility is opened as a part of 40 acres Shahid Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex, Greater Noida in March 2017. It is India’s 3rd and North India’s 1st High Performance Center.
