Raghuvaran Velayutham, known mononymously as Raghuvaran , was one of the most talented and versatile actors in Indian cinema, predominantly in Tamil and Telugu films. In a career spanning 26 years, Raghuvaran played hero, villain and character roles in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi movies. Born on 11 December 1958, he began his career as a stage actor and made his big screen debut with the 1982 film Elavathu Manithan. Raghuvaran was known for his villain roles.
