Access vehicle registration details through Telangana Transport Department's online portal. In Telangana, TG number plates serve as distinctive identifiers for vehicles, facilitating efficient monitoring, law enforcement, and taxation processes. New vehicles receiving these plates undergo a rigorous registration process to ensure accountability and road safety. The number reserved shall be re-notified immediately and the procedure as per sub rules (3) (i), (ii), (iii) and (5) shall be followed after cancellation of the reservation. Hyderabad: Hyderabad Police have begun replacing ‘TS’ with ‘ TG ’ on all vehicle number plates . This follows the Telangana government’s decision and the Centre’s official recognition of ‘ TG ’ as the state’s vehicle code.
